Dr. Kristin Rispoli

Dr. Rispoli’s research broadly focuses on supporting social and emotional functioning in neurodiverse children and adolescents through family-school partnerships and parent-mediated interventions. Her current work examines the use of consultation to improve family-school collaboration and mental wellness for adolescents with autism in the middle school grades. She has also developed a parent-mediated emotion regulation intervention for young children with autism. Her other interests include studying the effects of early education and intervention for children with developmental differences, and how the content and quality of special education goals relate to outcomes for autistic students.
